Amanda Moss SS16 Lookbook
We provided a selection of necklaces for Montreal-based designer Amanda Moss to pair with her elegant dresses for her SS16 lookbook, and the results are stunning. Shot by the ever-so talented Arden Wray, the photos have an ethereal, intimately feminine quality that makes my heart rush. I met Amanda at INLAND last Spring after encountering her work online, and have been captivated by her ethically made eponymous line ever since. I am honoured to have my work so beautifully displayed and captured together with hers.
Our PERSEPHONE necklace, in both long and short variations, is paired with the Joliette Dress and its classic feminine silhouette (left) and the oversized silhouette of the Striped Crew Neck Dress (right). The contrasted pairings are a flawless example of how you can dress our tassel necklaces up or down.
The washed linen Birchview Dress is one of my absolute favourites from Amanda Moss' SS16 collection. The lightweight, textured fabric and simplicity of the smock's loose form pair beautifully with the weight of our Ceramic Necklace No. 7, featuring a trio of marbled clay beads on a hand-spun persimmon dyed cotton cord.
The ELEMENT necklace is my go-to summer accessory—its pale nude and lilac, indigo, and natural linen tones are as airy as the necklace's light weight, owing to its linen and cotton core. It is in good company with the Lakeshore Washed Cotton Linen Smock (left) and the 100% cotton Courcelle Dress (right), illustrating the true beauty and character of natural fibres.
