Shipping

Orders are processed and shipped within 1-5 business days of placement. 'Made to Order' items may take longer, and will be indicated in the listing. You will receive email notification once your order has shipped.

We currently offer $10 flat-rate shipping to Canada and the US, and $15 flat-rate shipping to all other international destinations. In the event that you have been grossly overcharged for shipping, we will happily issue a partial refund. Otherwise, shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

We ship all domestic and international orders via Canada Post. All packages shipped within Canada will ship expedited and include tracking and insurance.

Arrival times vary by destination and cannot be guaranteed. Please see below for estimated delivery times: 

within Canada: 2 - 10 business days 
United States: 10 - 14 business days 
International: 10 - 24 business days


International Shipping

International shipments do not come with tracking or insurance. If you would like your package to be trackable, additional shipping costs will apply. Please contact us for more details.

We cannot predict, nor are we responsible, for a package taking longer than Canada Post’s estimated delivery time to reach its destination. Therefore, we cannot guarantee arrival times on international shipments.

Please note that international shipments may be subject to import taxes or duties as charged by the customs of the destination country and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. While we try to make an effort on our end to mitigate this cost, forestière CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE for customs fees or taxes charged upon arrival and WILL NOT refund or reimburse customers for any import charges that may occur, for any reason.

Return Policy

While we do our best to accurately photograph our work, please be aware that image colours may vary slightly according to your computer’s monitor settings. Due to the handmade nature of our items, slight or natural imperfections may exist in some materials (such as leather and vintage beads), which add to the character of the piece.

We like what we make and want you to absolutely love your purchase from forestière. In the event that you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will exchange or refund unworn/unused items in their original condition and with the original packaging. Any returns/exchanges must be made within 5 days upon receipt of your order. Items without original packaging or damaged by the customer will not be accepted for return, exchange, or store credit. No exceptions.

Unless an item is insured, forestière cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in transit, although we understand that this can be a frustrating experience and will try our best to replace damaged/lost items.

All SALE ITEMS are final and are not eligible for exchange or refund.

All gift certificate purchases are final and cannot be refunded.

 

To make a return/exchange:

Please email info@forestiere.ca within 5 days of receipt of the item with your order information and stating the reason for the return. Upon approval, we will provide you with the shipping address of where to send your package.IMPORTANT - If you are shipping your return item from outside of Canada, please mark “Return” on your customs label.

Once we receive your returned item in original and sellable condition, we will credit/refund you the merchandise amount only. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Please note that when an item is being returned, we are not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit and therefore encourage you to ship any items for return/exchange with a tracking number and insurance. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with a return or exchange.

 

To make a claim for an item damaged due to postal transit (for Canadian/insured orders only):

Please email info@forestiere.ca within 2 days of receipt of your order with details of the damage so that we can file a claim with Canada Post. Please note that the item must be photographed in order to make the claim.
